Point Nine Participates in the CFA Western Europe Traveling Conference

Point Nine, a leading provider of Middle and Back Office Services, today announces that its Chief Executive Officer, Yannis Matsis, will be speaking at the upcoming Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Western Europe Traveling Conference series, taking place in Milan, Zurich, Geneva and Luxembourg from March 16-19, 2009.

The CFA Traveling Conference series entitled "Nothing's Normal Now: Reassessing Portfolio Risks During Market Turmoil" will travel across Western Europe, featuring key presentations from senior financial practitioners. Topics will include; contributing factors to the ongoing market crisis, portfolio risks and new perspectives on capital risk allocation.

Yannis Matsis will be speaking about the factors that caused the current financial crisis, which will include an in depth look at regulation, risk controls and central bank policies, including the expansion of the hedge fund industry. "Over the past decade a number of events in the market have fuelled one another to erupt into the financial crisis we are seeing today. In order to move forward, we need to have a better understanding of the issues that caused the turmoil. I feel privileged to be giving a presentation on this subject matter at the CFA Conference. The CFA is one of the most prestigious bodies globally and one of the best platforms to educate the financial community." said Yannis Matsis, CEO Point Nine.
